Library
A library is a treasure-house of knowledge. A well-stocked library is an asset to the college, The term “Library” has been derived from the Latin word “Liber” which means “a book” and refers to a collection of books gathered for study, research, reference and recreation, where as Oxford English Dictionary defines library as a place where books kept for reading, study or reference.
The Library of Deshpande Private ITI, Udyog Vidyanagar, Haliyal is an academic library associated with and attached to the college which was established in 2004. The aim of library is to provide the needs of trainees. The collections of the library are books, journals, periodicals, newspapers etc.
