A-DOST: The Bridge Connecting Success and Opportunity for DIVT Alumni

On January 26, 2012, the Deshpande Institute of Vocational Training (DIVT) witnessed the inception of a transformative initiative: the Association of DIVT’s Old Successful Trainees, fondly known as A-DOST. This association was established to bring together all successful trainees of DIVT who have forged remarkable careers across various industries.

Leadership and Vision

Core Objectives

A-DOST is committed to achieving three primary goals:

1. Providing Job Information: The association disseminates valuable information about job opportunities in various sectors, helping members navigate the competitive job market effectively.
2. Promoting Self-Employment: Recognizing the potential of self-employment, A-DOST offers support and resources to members interested in starting their own ventures, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship.
3. Enhancing Skills: To ensure members remain at the forefront of their fields, A-DOST arranges training sessions aimed at upgrading and advancing their skill sets.

Guidance and Support

The association is privileged to have Shri. Dinesh R Naik, the Principal of DPITI, as a guiding force. His insights and advice have been invaluable in shaping the direction of A-DOST. Under the leadership of President Shri. Jayaraj Mule, representatives Shri. Sukumar S Upadhye and Shri. Chandrashekhar M Bannur have played significant roles in the association’s activities.
