Deshpande Pvt. Industrial Training Institute (DPITI) is established in the year 2004 and is promoted by Shri V. R. Deshpande Memorial Trust, Haliyal; under the leadership of Shri R. V. Deshpande. DPITI is engaged in technical training of rural youth, leading to I.T.I Course, in different trades. DPITI is ISO EOMS 21001 certified training Institute, recognized by DGT and affiliated to NCVET, New Delhi.

DPITI is located in lush green campus of five acres, housed in well built-up RCC building; state-of-the-art workshops of all trades and well equipped class-rooms, drawing hall, Audio Visual Room, Library, Computer Labs, well equipped workshops, hostel, canteen, mess, power backup. It is well connected with road, water supply lines, phone and transport.
